Chapter Synopsis
It is explained that the barrier around Kamunabi Headquarters is set to keep out anyone who is not affiliated with the Kamunabi . The source of the immensely strong barrier is natural forces: specifically, it derives from the earth's heat being transformed into spirit energy via a vast array of sorcerous inscriptions coating the underground facility. Spirit energy is typically associated with a person, and channelled through that person's will; ergo, spirit energy not associated with anyone usually cannot be controlled.
