Chapter Synopsis
On the 7th of October, Hakuri Sazanami recalls the loss of his pet praying mantis five years ago, having had to force himself to push through it. He compares it to his more recent loss of contact with his family as he sits in a cafe, reminding himself that all he can do is push through it. Lost in his thoughts, he accidentally spills his drink from his mouth.
